ROHS stands for restriction of hazardous substances. It is designed for the restriction of use of six hazardous substances i.e, mercury, cadmium, lead, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB), polybrominated biphenyl ether (PBDE), hexavalent chromium (CR-VI) in electrical and electronic equipments.
